Entry into force of new European sanctions against several military leaders active in DRC

30/04/24 (Agence Europe) – The European Union’s restrictive measures against a series of military leaders active in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) will come into force on Wednesday 1 May. Eight people named as having committed or supported acts undermining the peace, stability or security of the DRC were singled out on Tuesday in a publication in the Official Journal of the EU.
