With gas stocks filled to 59% by winter’s end, there is sufficient capacity to meet future demand, according to ENTSOG

In its ‘Summer Supply Outlook 2024’, ENTSOG assesses injection levels as well as the potential evolution of gas exports, supply, and demand from 1 April to 30 September 2024 by applying different supply scenarios, including a total disruption of Russian pipeline supply.

The report shows that as of 1 April 2024, the EU gas stock level is in the higher end of the range for the last five years—at 59%—thanks to reduced demand.
